Veterans Coffee House (VCH)
The Veterans Coffee House (or VCH) meets the fourth Thursday of each month (holiday scheduling may vary) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. All veterans from all armed forces service branches who served in any armed conflict or admin area are invited to attend. An incredibly delicious breakfast prepared by our lovely lady volunteers is served. Prayer and a devotion is presented by one of our pastors, by a veteran or a guest speaker. A variety of guest speakers attend and may include staff from the Veterans Administration, Union County Social and Human Services, Union County and North Carolina State Representatives and Senators, Waxhaw and area Council Members and area Churches. We even have door prizes and a tremendous amount of literature explaining benefits and programs available to our courageous veterans.
And, while are the above activities are extremely important and helpful, most of our regular VCH vets consider the time to talk with and connect with their fellow vets to be one of the biggest benefits -- and most fun -- parts of the VCH!
If you have served our wonderful country, we would be privileged to have you come to our VCH meetings. We want to meet you and honor you as a member of the group of men and women who contributed to the reason America is the home of the free -- because of YOU the brave.
