Sunday School- 9:15 AM & Worship services 10:30 AM. - Wednesday Bible Study 3:00PM and7:00 P.M.

Bible Study:

Meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 in WBC's Fellowship Hall. Pastor Chris presents a variety of subjects which has included studies from topics including "Angels and Demons," "How to Pray," "Evangelism vs. Discipleship," etc.; and, Books of the Bible from both the Old and New Testaments.   Come to develop and strengthen your personal relationship with the Lord through in-depth studies of His Word.

  • FINGERFOOD WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Join us the first Wednesday of each month in our Fellowship Hall for supper (6:30 pm), fellowship and stay for the Bible Study.
  • GOALS DISCIPLESHIP:  One of the main goals of WBC is:  Growing On Another Level Spiritually! Come and join us as we dive into deeper studies concerning our relationship with Jesus, family, finances, and other doctrines as we grow together

Jesse Jude Pantry:

Food for a family of four boxed and distributed the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 11 am. Donations taken at that time as well as by appointment. Accepted are non-perishable food items such as boxed mac & cheese, bottled spaghetti sauces, all dried pastas and beans, canned and packaged soups, tuna, etc., canned vegetables, packaged rice and potato items, cookies, snacks, etc. No expired goods, please and thank you!

Outreach Ministry:

The Outreach Ministry is a large group which has specific ministries as well as special ministries as they are identified. For example, the Outreach Team may serve ice cream at ballfields, prepare food for the Parkwood Football Team and pray with them prior to a game.

Love Life Charlotte:  Be a part of the choose life movement !  

Visitation Ministry:  Church members visit those whose health preclude them from coming to church. Either at the hospital or at home, fellowship, food and fun is the order of each visit as the team sings songs, reads from the Bible and prays.

Walk thru Bethlehem:  An annual interactive community outreach telling the story of Jesus! It is held each December before Christmas. A community favorite!

Back to School Bash and Sole to Soul (c):  This outreach is to school children and provides school supplies at the start of the school year as well as socks and shoes for those who need them.  Children's feet are washed, prayer is offered and the Gospel; and, an invitation to trust Jesus.

Operation Christmas Child: starting Monday, October 21, WBC serves as a collection point for OCC boxes from area residents and churches.  We also provide individual OCC boxes.  On November 18th at noon, volunteers are needed to transport collected boxes to the UBA in Monroe; pick-up trucks, SUV and strong backs welcome!

VETS COFFEE HOUSE:  Are you a Veteran? If you are, come to the Veterans Coffee House at WBC! It is held every third Thursday of the month at 9 A.M.

Single Ladies' Fellowship:   Meets every month at the Church and other various places.


Mens and Womens Mission:

A ministry devoted to repairing storm damaged homes along with providing food and serving our neighbors in need at the Monroe Shelter.

Ruby Scott Sewing Circle:

Meets every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m.  Members serve by sewing clothing, blankets, curtains, lap rugs, wheelchair and walker tote bags for our children overseas and area residents.
